Anthony Middle School's Open House will be on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. There will be two come and go sessions by last name:
A-L 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.
M-Z 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

We are excited for the new school year to begin! The first day of school will be August 12, 2026. School begins at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 3:05 p.m. Doors will open at 7:25 a.m. to allow students time to get to class before the tardy bell rings at 7:45 a.m.

June 2, 2026—Cypress-Fairbanks ISD reminds the community that its office of emergency management, in collaboration with the CFISD police department and local first responders, will host a full-scale safety exercise on June 3 at Rowe Middle School (7611 Westgreen Blvd.) and the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road).

June 2, 2026—A Smith Middle School team won first place at the 2026 Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri, which took place May 21-24.

April 2, 2026—CFISD staff, students, community members and business partners gathered at the Berry Center and Cy-Fair FCU Stadium for the 12th Superintendent’s Fun Run on March 28. The fundraiser concluded with CFISD and Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital representatives presenting a check worth $95,000 to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF).

March 20, 2026—For the third consecutive year, CFISD has earned the Texas Thespians Premier Communities for Theatre Education Award. The award recognizes and honors school districts that provide theatre programs with resources to achieve above standard ratings, as rooted in the Educational Theatre Association’s Opportunity to Learn Standards, Texas Theatre Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for Fine Arts and support of International Thespian Society Troupe involvement.

March 18, 2026—The CFISD Board of Trustees approved the administration’s recommendations for open/closed campus designations for student transfers for the 2026-27 school year during the regular meeting on March 2.
