It’s hard to believe we’re just two weeks away from Winter Break! We want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your ongoing support for our staff and students. This year has been full of so many Ravens on the Rise—in classrooms, athletics, and in the performing and fine arts. Late Buses

The last day for late buses will be Thursday, December 11th. Any students staying for after school practices or organizations the last week of school will need to arrange for parent transportation. Late buses will resume in the Spring semester. 

Holiday Celebrations

We cannot accept food deliveries during the school day for holiday celebrations. The front office will not accept food items during school hours. Students should not bring gifts or food to exchange with their peers during the school day, we encourage our students to meet up with their friends outside of the school day.

Semester Exam Schedule

Students’ attendance is important during the semester end exam and district progress monitoring assessments; exams will not be available prior to the scheduled exam date and time.

Attendance Reminders

• Emergency contacts are not authorized to pick up students from the attendance office.
• Parent walk-ins for student pick-up will experience delays.
• The cut-off time for early pick-up of students is 2:30 PM. Please note: the cut-off time for walk-in early pick up of students will be 12:30 PM on Thursday, December 18^th.
• Students who know they will be picked up early are encouraged to bring a signed parent note to the attendance office prior to the 7:45am bell so that they can receive a pass for early pick-up.

Nov. 10, 2025—The CFISD Board of Trustees approved the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council’s (DEIC) recommendations for the 2026-2027 instructional calendar during its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 10.

Aug. 19, 2025—The CFISD technology department is hosting a community e-waste drive on Sept. 6 from 8-11 a.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road). All proceeds from recycled electronics will benefit the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) and Cy-Hope.
