Attendance is expected to complete the semester exams and district progress monitoring assessments. All students are expected to take the semester exam.
Exams are not available before the exam date.
Per Board Policy: "If a student fails to take the exam, the student shall earn a zero."
Student in high school credit courses, the semester exam will be calculated as 1/7th of their semester average.
Testing Days
December 9th, 10th, 11th 12th, 15th, and 16th.

We will have monthly Spirit Nights. Proceeds will benefit students through PBIS. Please follow the instructions on each flyer.

Nov. 14, 2025—Nine CFISD middle school productions placed and were recognized at the CFISD Middle School UIL One-Act Play Contest, held Oct. 20, 24 and 30 at the Berry Center.

Nov. 10, 2025—The CFISD Board of Trustees approved the Districtwide Educational Improvement Council’s (DEIC) recommendations for the 2026-2027 instructional calendar during its regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 10.

Sept. 9, 2025—The Anthony, Smith and Sprague middle school orchestras were named finalists for the 2025 Houston Cup. The award recognizes excellent orchestra teaching and directing at the middle school level across the greater Houston area.

Aug. 19, 2025—The CFISD technology department is hosting a community e-waste drive on Sept. 6 from 8-11 a.m. at the Berry Center (8877 Barker Cypress Road). All proceeds from recycled electronics will benefit the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) and Cy-Hope.

Aug. 18, 2025—The Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) named CFISD a 2025 District of Distinction award winner, marking the fifth consecutive year the district has earned the prestigious designation. CFISD is among only 109 districts in the state to earn the award.

Aug. 12, 2025—Towne Lake community members raised $4,000 to purchase a total of four benches and two picnic tables for Anthony Middle School.

A new Texas law (House Bill 1481) requires school districts to prohibit student use of all personal communication devices during the school day. Therefore, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is updating its cell phone policy.
