Sprague Middle School won the eighth grade boys’ track and field team title with 81.33 points at the District Meet, held April 22 at Cypress Woods High School.
May 16, 2025—The Anthony Middle School seventh and eighth grade girls and the Sprague Middle School seventh and eighth grade boys clinched their respective track and field district championships at the District Meet, held April 22 and 24 at Cypress Woods and Cypress Falls high schools.
Sprague claimed the eighth grade boys’ title with 81.33 points to finish ahead of runner up Hamilton (70) and third-place Bleyl Middle School (66.25).
The Anthony Middle School eighth grade girls’ track and field team claimed the district champion title with 117 points at the District Meet, held April 24 at Cypress Falls High School.
Anthony won the eighth grade girls’ competition with 117 points, followed by runner-up Hamilton (91) and third-place Salyards Middle School (61).
Sprague also won the seventh grade boys’ competition with 132 points, ahead of runner up Watkins Middle School (73) and third-place Hamilton Middle School (59).
Anthony won the seventh grade girls’ competition with 183 points to finish ahead of runner-up Sprague (111) and Goodson Middle School (57).
