General Information

At Anthony Middle School, all students and staff will have engaging learning opportunities provided through empowering 
activities which will positively impact student achievement, affording students multiple opportunities to reach their dreams in a safe, supportive and collaborative environment. AMS provides a quality learning experience for all students by all invested –students, instructional staff, support staff, parents and community members/business partners - committing to the following:

Students L.E.A.D. (Learn * Empower * Achieve * Dream) by committing to:

  • Adhere to the CFISD Handbook/Code of Conduct and the R.I.S.E. matrix to create a safe, supportive and positive school environment for students and staff
  • (Learn) persevere in the learning process (ex. actively participate in class and attend tutoring)
  • (Empower) be active in the school by participating in clubs or extra-curricular organizations
  • (Achieve) frequently check the Home Access Center to be informed about grades
  • (Dream) set short-term and long-term personal growth goals and achieve them.

Instructional Staff Members L.E.A.D. (Learn * Empower * Achieve * Dream) by committing to: 

  • (Learn) actively listen to all stakeholders and collaborate to make data-driven decisions that are best for all students
  • (Learn/Empower) set a personal instructional goal and student goals along with engaging in professional development that will positively impact student learning 
  • (Empower) provide all students with opportunities to be successful by fulfilling professional responsibilities, reflect on instructional goals/practices, collaboratively plan and refine differentiated lessons, and provide meaningful, real-world instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • (Achieve) use formative and summative data to inform planning and instruction
  • (Achieve) keep students, parents and support staff informed about the learner’s academic progress
  • (Dream) celebrate students’ progress and achievements. 

Instructional Support Staff Members L.E.A.D. (Learn * Empower * Achieve * Dream) by committing to:

  • (Learn) actively listen to all stakeholders and collaborate to make data-driven decisions that are best for all students
  • (Learn) support teachers and instruction by visiting classrooms and accessing district resources 
  • (Empower) foster collaborative instructional plannings and provide teams with pedagogical strategies
  • (Achieve) facilitate data analyses
  • (Dream) celebrate students’ and staff’ achievements.

Parents L.E.A.D. (Learn * Empower * Achieve * Dream) by committing to:

  • (Learn) actively partner with Anthony Middle School by communicating with staff about the student’s progress and checking the teachers’ calendars to be informed about instructional topics
  • (Empower) listen to the student read daily (https://soraapp.com/library/cfisdtx) and initiate a conversation with the student about his/her day
  • (Empower) encourage the student to set goals and give his/her best effort to achieve each goal
  • (Achieve) frequently check the Home Access Center to remain informed about the student’s grade
  • (Dream) celebrating the student’s progress and achievements

Community Members/Businesses:

  • Foster relationships with Anthony Middle School by mentoring students, donating goods, and providing financial resources to support students and staff.
  • visit extra-curricular events
  • promote Anthony Middle School’s student and staff achievements within the community
